In this Health & Safety Training Program/Workshop, participants will learn about best practices for communicating health and safety risks and controls to employees.

The aim of this session is to equip employees and managers with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively communicate health and safety risks and controls in the workplace.

  • Participants will work in small groups to develop a risk communication plan for a simulated workplace setting.
  • They will be given a list of potential health and safety risks and will be asked to identify the most significant risks and develop a plan for communicating those risks and the controls in place to mitigate them to employees.
  • The group will then present their risk communication plan to the rest of the class for feedback and discussion.

At the end of this session, participants will have gained a thorough understanding of the importance of effective risk communication in the workplace and will have the knowledge and skills needed to effectively communicate health and safety risks and controls to employees.

They will also be aware of the legal requirements related to risk communication in the workplace and will be able to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with those requirements.
