Introduction

This session is designed to help employees identify and overcome obstacles that may be preventing them from achieving their goals, and provide strategies for staying motivated and on track throughout the year.

  1. Obstacle Mapping Exercise: In this session activity, participants will engage in a guided exercise to identify their personal obstacles and delve into their root causes. Through interactive discussions and self-reflection, attendees will gain insights into the underlying factors hindering their progress.
  2. Accountability Partner Pairing: Participants will be paired up with accountability partners during the session. Through structured exercises and facilitated discussions, individuals will establish goals and commitments with their partners, fostering a supportive accountability system within the group.
  3. Time Blocking Workshop: Within the session, attendees will participate in a hands-on workshop on the time blocking technique. Guided by the facilitator, participants will learn to implement time blocking strategies directly, allowing them to organize their schedules and prioritize tasks effectively in real-time.

  • The SMART goal-setting framework: This framework can be used to help participants set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals and track progress towards their completion.
  • The GROW model: This model can be used to help participants identify their personal goals and develop strategies for achieving them. It involves setting clear goals, identifying the current reality and any obstacles standing in the way, brainstorming options for overcoming those obstacles, and creating a plan for moving forward.
  • The 4 Ds framework: This framework can be used to help participants stay motivated and on track by identifying and addressing any “distractions, doubts, diversions, or procrastination” that may be hindering their progress. It involves setting clear goals and deadlines, breaking large tasks into smaller, more manageable steps, and using accountability measures and positive reinforcement to stay motivated and on track.
