Introduction

In this skills training workshop, we will explore the role of negotiation in conflict resolution and how to use negotiation strategies to effectively resolve disputes. We will cover techniques for managing emotions, using problem-solving techniques, and finding mutually beneficial solutions. Through a combination of theoretical and practical elements, including exercises, we will explore how these concepts can be leveraged within work settings. By the end of this session, participants will have a strong understanding of the role of negotiation in conflict resolution and be able to confidently use negotiation strategies to effectively resolve disputes.
