Introduction
Parenting and working from home can be a rewarding but challenging experience.
In this training, we will explore the challenges of parenting and working from home and discuss strategies for self-care and flexible working.
The goal is to help parents understand the importance of self-care and flexible working in navigating the challenges of parenting and working from home and provide tools and resources to help them do so.

- Group exercise: Participants will work in small groups to identify challenges with balancing parenting and working from home and brainstorm strategies for improvement.
- Role-play: Participants will role-play a scenario in which they are struggling with the challenges of parenting and working from home and will practice using the strategies learned in the session to address the issue.

- The Work-Family Interface Model: This model explains how work and family intersect and how this can lead to conflict or enrichment. It can be leveraged within work settings by understanding the different ways in which work and family intersect and implementing policies and practices that support a healthy work-life balance.
- The Self-Care Model: This model suggests that self-care is important for maintaining well-being and productivity. It can be leveraged within work settings by helping parents understand the importance of self-care and providing resources and support to help them prioritize self-care.
- The Flexibility Theory: This theory suggests that flexible work arrangements can lead to improved well-being and performance. It can be leveraged within work settings by implementing flexible work arrangements that benefit parents and the organization.
At the end of this session, participants will have a better understanding of the challenges of parenting and working from home and will be equipped with strategies and resources to support their well-being and productivity.
Participants will be able to identify and address challenges with balancing parenting and working from home in their own lives and will be prepared to implement strategies for self-care and flexible working.
Participants will feel more confident in their ability to navigate the challenges of parenting and working from home and will be better equipped to support their well-being and success.
