Mindfulness for Working Parents

Introduction

Being a working parent can be a challenging and rewarding experience, but it can also be stressful and overwhelming at times. This workshop is designed to provide employees who are working parents with the skills and tools to effectively incorporate mindfulness strategies into their daily lives, both personally and professionally. 

Throughout the session, we will cover both the theoretical and practical elements of mindfulness, including its foundations in mindfulness meditation and its role in reducing stress and improving mental health. We will also delve into the many ways in which mindfulness can be implemented in daily life, including through mindful parenting, mindful activities, and evidence-based practices such as Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). 

As part of the workshop, we will also provide attendees with a toolkit for developing a Mindfulness Practice, which can be used to support their ongoing mindfulness practice. This toolkit will include resources such as guided meditation recordings, mindful movement exercises, and strategies for integrating mindfulness into daily activities.
