  • The trainer will present key concepts and principles through a combination of lectures, discussions, and interactive exercises.
  • Participants will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned through a group exercise in which they develop a communication and collaboration plan for a team or department.

  • The Tuckman Model: This model involves forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning as stages of group development.
  • The 5 C’s of Communication: This framework involves considering the context, content, audience, channel, and purpose of communication.
  • The RACI Model: This model involves identifying the Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed stakeholders for a project or task.
  • The Tuckman Model can be used to understand the stages of group development and identify strategies to support effective communication and collaboration within a team.
  • The 5 C’s of Communication can be used to ensure that communication is effective and targeted to the appropriate audience.
  • The RACI Model can be used to clarify roles and responsibilities within a team or project and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and involved as appropriate.

At the end of this session, participants will have a strong understanding of the principles of effective communication and collaboration and how to apply them in their work as middle managers. They will have the skills and tools to develop and maintain effective communication channels within their teams or departments, and to lead and manage communication and collaboration effectively. They will be equipped to create a culture of collaboration and communication within their teams, leading to better performance, engagement, and retention.
