Introduction
Improper lifting can cause a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, including strains, sprains, and other painful conditions. In the workplace, lifting is a common task for many jobs, and it’s important to take steps to prevent injuries associated with improper lifting techniques.
In this training session, participants will learn about the musculoskeletal system and how it is affected by lifting, as well as proper lifting techniques, including body mechanics, positioning, and grip. They will also learn about the importance of identifying hazards and risk factors associated with lifting in the workplace and best practices for implementing safe lifting practices, including the use of equipment and tools.
