Introduction
The postpartum period can be a time of physical and emotional adjustment for fathers, and it’s important for them to prioritize their own needs and find support during this time.
In this men’s health training program/workshop on supporting fathers during the postpartum period, participants will learn about the physical and emotional changes that occur during this time, as well as strategies for managing these changes and finding support.

By the end of this session, participants will have a deeper understanding of the unique emotional and psychological challenges that fathers may face during the postpartum period. They will have learned about the importance of emotional support and self-care for fathers during this time, as well as effective strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and depression.
They will also have been provided with information on how to access support and resources, such as counseling, support groups, and online resources. Participants will also have been given tips on how to communicate with their partners and other family members about their needs and how to navigate the emotional and practical challenges that may arise during the postpartum period.
Overall, participants will leave this session with the knowledge and tools needed to support fathers during the postpartum period, and to prioritize their mental health and well-being.
