- Identifying potential ergonomic hazards and risk factors: We will discuss the types of ergonomic identifying these risk factors that can be found in the workplace, and we will provide tools analyzing equipment identifying these risks. This may include conducting a work task analysis, observing work processes, and analyzing equipment and tools.
- Assessing the risk of injury and discomfort: We will discuss how to assess the risk of injury and discomfort associated with ergonomic hazards and risk factors. We will cover a range of risk assessment tools and techniques, including checklists, rating scales, and expert opinion.
- Suggesting solutions to reduce the risk of injury and discomfort: We will discuss strategies for designing ergonomic solutions to reduce the risk of injury and discomfort in the workplace. We will cover a range of options, including adjusting workstations, purchasing ergonomic equipment, redesigning work tasks and processes, and providing training and education to employees.
- Practical exercises: We will provide a range of practical exercises to demonstrate the ergonomic risk assessment process and how it can be applied in the workplace.
