Conflict is a natural part of any relationship, and effective communication is a crucial skill for resolving conflicts in a constructive and positive manner.
In this training, we will explore strategies for improving communication in conflict situations and learn how to express needs and concerns, listen actively, and negotiate effectively.

- The Johari Window: This is a tool for improving self-awareness and understanding how others perceive us. It consists of four quadrants: open, hidden, blind, and unknown.
- The Communication Process Model: This model illustrates the steps involved in the communication process, including sender, message, channel, receiver, and feedback.
- The Transactional Model of Communication: This model illustrates how communication is a dynamic process in which both parties contribute to the exchange of messages.
- The Johari Window can be used to improve self-awareness and understand how others perceive us, which can be helpful in conflict situations where misunderstandings may be present.
- The Communication Process Model can be used to understand the steps involved in the communication process and identify any breakdowns or misunderstandings that may be occurring.
- The Transactional Model of Communication can be used to understand the dynamic nature of communication and how both parties contribute to the exchange of messages.
By the end of this training, participants will have a greater understanding of the role of effective communication in conflict resolution and the strategies and skills needed for successful communication in these situations.
They will be able to express their needs and concerns in a clear and respectful manner and develop active listening skills for better understanding and empathy. They will also learn how to negotiate effectively in conflict situations and have the opportunity to practice and apply these skills through practical exercises.
Participants will leave the training with the tools and confidence needed to communicate effectively in conflict situations in the workplace.
