Practical Exercises

  • Identifying and Challenging Negative Thoughts: Participants will be given a worksheet to help them identify negative thoughts related to a common workplace issue. They will be encouraged to challenge and reframe these negative thoughts using CBT techniques. This exercise will help participants recognize unhelpful thinking patterns and learn how to change them to improve their mood and behavior in the workplace.
  • Mindfulness and Relaxation Practice: Participants will be guided through a brief mindfulness and relaxation practice, such as a breathing exercise or a guided meditation. This exercise will help participants develop mindfulness and relaxation skills that they can use to manage workplace stress and anxiety.
  • Goal Setting and Action Planning: Participants will be guided through a goal-setting exercise where they will set a work-related goal and then break it down into manageable steps. They will be encouraged to identify potential obstacles and develop a plan to overcome them. This exercise will help participants learn how to set realistic goals, develop a plan to achieve them, and stay motivated along the way.
