Mental health is an essential aspect of overall health and well-being. Building resilience and coping with setbacks is a crucial skill that can help us navigate challenges and setbacks in life.

This training will provide an overview of strategies and techniques for building resilience and coping with setbacks, with a focus on practical exercises and tools that can be applied in daily life.

  • Understanding resilience and how it can be developed
  • Identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and beliefs
  • Techniques for managing stress and anxiety
  • Strategies for building a supportive network and seeking help when needed
  • Practical tools and exercises for building resilience and coping with setbacks

(for 90-min workshops, Half/Full Day | 5-week Programs, and in-person sessions)

  • Gratitude Journaling: Participants will start a daily gratitude journal, where they can write down three things they’re grateful for each day. 
  • Identify Their Coping Strategies: Participants will be guided through an exercise to identify their own coping strategies that have helped them in the past to deal with setbacks. 
  • Reframing Negative Thoughts: Participants will learn how to identify and reframe negative thoughts that may arise when faced with setbacks.
