This session is designed to help employees understand the impact of aging on cognitive health and how to optimize brain health as they age. The session will include practical exercises and activities to help participants understand and apply these concepts in their daily lives.

  • The Impact of Aging on Cognitive Health: Participants will learn about the various factors that impact brain aging, including genetics, lifestyle factors, and environmental factors.
  • Evidence-Based Practices for Promoting Cognitive Health: Participants will learn about the various evidence-based practices that can be used to optimize cognitive health as they age, including maintaining a healthy diet, engaging in regular physical activity, and participating in mentally stimulating activities.
  • Maintaining Neuroplasticity: Participants will learn about the latest scientific research on maintaining neuroplasticity and the role of neuroplasticity in maintaining cognitive health as they age.
  • Strategies for Maintaining Cognitive Health: Participants will learn about practical strategies for maintaining cognitive health as they age, including setting achievable goals, creating a supportive environment, and finding enjoyable activities.

Throughout the session, participants will engage in practical exercises and activities designed to help them understand and apply the concepts covered.

By the end of this session, participants will have gained a deeper understanding of the aging brain and the different factors that contribute to cognitive decline. They will have learned about various lifestyle changes and activities that can promote brain health, such as exercise, social engagement, and cognitive training.

Additionally, participants will have gained insights into how nutrition, sleep, stress, and other factors impact cognitive health and learned about practical steps they can take to mitigate these effects.

Armed with this knowledge, participants will be well-equipped to make informed decisions about their own cognitive health and take proactive steps to maintain their cognitive function and overall well-being as they age.
