Introduction

Adaptability and innovation are key skills in today’s rapidly changing world. 

In this workshop, we will explore the role of adaptability in fostering creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, and provide strategies for adapting to new ideas and approaches. 

We will also discuss tips for encouraging and nurturing adaptable thinking within your team or organization.

  • The training will be a combination of lectures, group discussions, and practical exercises.
  • Participants will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and challenges related to adaptability and innovation, and engage in brainstorming sessions to come up with creative solutions.

  1. The Growth Mindset: This framework, developed by Carol Dweck, suggests that individuals who believe that their abilities can be developed through effort and learning are more likely to be open to new ideas and approaches.
  2. Design Thinking: This framework, developed by the Stanford d.school, is a problem-solving approach that encourages out-of-the-box thinking and iteration.
  3. The 5 Whys: This simple tool, developed by Toyota, involves asking “why” five times in order to get to the root cause of a problem and generate creative solutions.
  • The Growth Mindset can be leveraged by encouraging a culture of learning and growth within the organization, and by providing opportunities for employees to develop new skills.
  • Design Thinking can be leveraged by using structured brainstorming sessions and encouraging team members to think creatively about challenges and opportunities.
  • The 5 Whys can be leveraged by regularly using this tool in problem-solving sessions and encouraging team members to ask “why” in order to get to the root cause of a problem.

At the end of this workshop, participants will have a greater understanding of the role of adaptability in fostering innovation and creativity, and will have developed strategies and techniques for adapting to new ideas and approaches.

They will also have learned techniques for encouraging and nurturing adaptable thinking within their team or organization.
